I am requesting that the UI for web access be reverted so that a black background is on the home and library screens and each item has its own background OR let users set their own backgrounds.
The new backgrounds in (Server Version 1.4.2.3400, Web Version 3.0.0) aren’t visually appealing and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the images I selected while was browsing my library instead of the mismash of colours that’s taken from the poster or “background” I’ve already selected.
Additionally, clicking the button to view the image is a nice feature, but having an image as the background served an actual purpose; it can be both. The current UI still lists those images as Background right underneath Banner and right above Advanced in TV Shows, and between Poster and Info in Movies. Why call it a background if it’s not the background of anything?
