Home page not refreshing "Continue Watching" section

Player Version#: 8.23.0.27973 and newer (tested up to 8.23.1.28053)

Hello,

I’m using Nvidia Shield TV Pro. Since Plex version 8.23.0, when I watch an episode, or just mark it as watched/unwatched, when I come back to the home screen, the “Continue Watching” section is not updated. I still see the previous episode there.

The issue is solved when downgrading to 8.22.0.

I’m happy to provide any additional information.

Exact same issue here (also Nvidia Shield Pro). The Continue Watching section will refresh if I reset the app. It’s extra weird because if you open the individual show or movie you can continue it from where you left off. It just won’t update on the home page.

I’ve exactly the same issue on my nVidia Shield (not pro).
Switching to a library (e.g. tv-shows) and back to the “continiue watching” section refreshes the page.
Also WebUI in chrome shows correct progress.

Same issue, Xiaomi Mi box, player v8.23.1.28053
Server v1.24.3.5033.

I usually have to kill the app and reload it to force it to update.

I currently have the same issue on the Shield Pro, it started not too long after the latest update.

Update: I just tested out the latest beta and it seems to have fixed this problem for me based on the short amount of time I had to test it out.
