I just made a new Home user for use with my nvidia shield at my house but even though it’s a local account and the server is local the connection/stream starts at 4Mbps (which is what my remote speed/quality is set to) instead of “Play original quality” which is what the local settings are.
Just to verify that the stream isn’t “locked in” to thinking it’s remote, if I change the quality to original it continues to play just fine. So I believe that on the backend the home user just assumes it’s remote and starts at the remote quality. I’d assume this would be fixed by just putting priority of connection based on whether it’s a local connection vs a remote one.
Anyone else experience this?
