After successfully having enabled LiveTV for my home users, I’m now faced with the problem that most channels only shows TextTV changing pages fast when they try to watch LiveTV.
This was also a problem for me, but disabling “automatically select audio/subtitles” under server -> Languages removed this problem for my user. Apparantly it is an issue with textTv being considered CC subtitles.
I tried disabling that for each home user under their account, but it has no effect on them, they still only see TextTV.
Any idea how to fix this?

How were you able to enable Live TV for your home users? I’ve been stuck on this. Only my owner account has access to Live TV.

It required installing the 1.11 plex server build. Even though it’s showing as an option in 1.10 (when using plex.tv/web) it didn’t work.
Installing 1.11, logging in on the local webservice (localhost:32400) and allowing LiveTV for homeusers there made it available (after a restart).
But alas, they cannot use most of it as the channels only show textTV

If only someone cloud help me with my problem as described in this thread. I sure wish PLEX had some kind of support/ticket system to allow for a more detailed pickup of bugs they need to fix. As it is now it will never be stable as they introduce or leave out as many bugs as they fix.
