thumbnail shows movie title but when I press play it plays a home video. I did not want to even sync my home videos but did not know how to stop it. It’s been downloading for hours now. I guess I’ll have to delete each home video one by one but still not sure how to watch the movie titles that downloaded. Any suggestions?
You cannot watch movies which you don’t have as files on your hard disk.
Plex won’t give you access to movies you don’t have.

You probably pointed Plex to your folder with your home movies. Plex then did its best to “guess” from the file names which cinema movie these files could be.
If you want to add your home movies into Plex, put them into a “Other Videos” library and not a “Movie” library.
