When I schedule TV SERIES to be recorded it is only recording one episode . No matter what settings i select… This has only happened after jan 1 when I had to delete and reinstall the dvr
I’m biased and probably way off, but: When setting up a recording, are you sure you’re recording to a TV Show-library?
ye sit is going to the right folder 
but i do notice that one of the series i have selected says no upcoming airings yet there are 4 episodes this evening.
Like i said this all worked prior to jan 1 update
