DVR not recording series linked shows but will record single episodes

I have noticed that when i set up to record a series link of a show it says that it is scheduled to record in the guide but when I look at the schedule it dose not show but dose show in the recording priority list on the right hand side of the schedule but says that there are no upcoming airings.

If I was to select the same show and select record a single episode again it will show up in the guide as a recording scheduled but it also shows up in the dvr schedule.

I have removed the buffer to start recording x number of minutes early but still can not record a series link of a show and it dose not matter which show I choose it dose it for all. I have deleted the dvr several times selecting a different source for the guide to download from but have the same issue.

I am using the HDHomeRun quad tuner. and I have plex server running on a Western Digital PR4100 Nas. I have also tried running the dvr on a terramaster NAS but get the same result as metioned above. Runninv Version 1.18.4.2171 of plex server

You need to change the airings setting to New and Repeat, unless the guide says new next to the program it won’t be recorded without the repeat.

I have just tried what you stated but it dose not matter if it is set to new airings only or new and repeat the series still will not record still says no upcoming airings.

It isn’t instantaneous and depending on how much guide data you have may need a full refresh.
