I am tired of tagging with multitudes of applications for music and audiobooks.
I wish the developers of plex would develop an application that solves a lot of woes. I envisage the following:
Let’s call it : UNIVERSAL PLEX MEDIA TAGGER/MANAGER
Functions : Scraping, Tagging, Renaming and maybe scripting functions for Movies, Serials, Music in General, Classical Music and Audiobooks.
Levels Of Complexity or Pre-sets : Simple, Advanced, etc. based on how much information and details the user wants to retrieve.
Type of Organization for Media files : General, Plex Friendly, Custom etc.
EXTRA FUNCTIONS (if possible): PMS API calls to check and compare with existing media in the library. This would be useful to avoid duplicates.
Maybe in the future, developers can set and finalize a standard on how and what kind pf tags needs to be in and the whole world should follow one standard.
