In my region/country, I can’t get live channels from Plex. Additionally, I have disabled everything in the “Online Media Sources” section. I am the only user that has access to my Plex server. However, I still get this empty “Movies & Shows on Plex” row on every cast/crew page. How can I get rid of Movies & Shows on Plex?
I can’t reproduce. The hub “Movies & Shows on Plex” is gone as soon as I disable “Movies & Shows” in Online Media Sources.
Have you tried to refresh the web page?
I don’t have that on my sidebar

It looks like I don’t even have settings for Movies & Shows on Plex.
All I have is what’s shown in the screenshot.
I reloaded the web app, restarted the server and Mac app, cleaned bundles, and optimized the database. I think it’s a bug.
@tarik do you only see that row on the Web app in browser and mac app? If you use another Plex app like on your TV or smart phone do you also see it there?

Both on the web app and Mac app. I just checked it on my iPhone, and it’s the only one that doesn’t show Movies & Shows on Plex. btw all my apps are up to date.
@tarik Thank you for reporting. The provider service is blocked in your region so the option to disable/enable is also blocked in https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/online-media-sources. This makes it almost impossible for you to disable the service provider entirely as was initially suggested. This feels like a client issue not handling the region block, since you’ve reported that iOS is handling this properly. I’ve filed an internal issue to get this resolved. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience while we address the issue.
