I don’t want people to see who’s got access to my Plex server. I want to avoid that drama of oooh so xyz also has access.
Add them as Friends and not Managed Users. I can’t see the other Friend users when logged into my other account.
If I invite someone, they accept and if they go to settings then users they can see all invited friends.
Does anyone know how to stop this from happening?
Seems like a big issue to me for privacy etc

Hi it was taken from the invited friend
So I am not sure what is going on or if what I am doing is actually right but… On my Plex account I click Invite Friends, which sends an invite and the invited users can see the other users.
If I go to share libraries, there is an option to add as a home user which will allow them to see users etc so I assume I use that to hide other others however, when a friend gets the invitation and they click on the link, it goes to Plex and an error appears stating Hmm, an invite error…
So that isn’t working either and I am not sure why
Good god… so I think I have created this issue myself… cached credentials in the browser… so If I use the url from the invite in a private window it asks me to login and it works so I assume my cached credentials don’t match the invitation and hence the error
This is issue isn’t an issue but appreciate the reply
If you are using the credentials of the invitee, I recommend you to use an ‘incognito’ web browser window/tab.
