How can I (re-)enable the new Discovery feature?

Server Version#: 1.31.3.6868
Player Version#: 4.100.1

Hello,

I disabled the new Discovery feature a couple weeks ago on my account. I’ve decided I want to have it again but I have no way to re-enable it. How can I resolve this? I’ve come around to this feature and want to use it.

Looks like some browser plug-in/add-on or security feature blocking part of the web page (specifically: the Enabled option in the dropdown).
Edit: sorry, I reacted too quickly… it appears I can see the same behavior – let me double-check.

Do you get to see the same behavior if you open the web app while disabling all plug-ins or when using a different browser?

Doesn’t changing it from disabled to disable for managed users enable it for full plex accounts? Clunky naming but think this came up before.

I just tried this.

  1. Normally I use Chrome but for this test I opened up Edge. I completely erased my browser history, cache, cookies everything and removed all extensions in Edge.
  2. Went to app.plex.tv and as a non-logged in user I could see the Discover button on the left menu
  3. Logged in using my Plex account

Result is the same. Discover button is no longer present in the left menu. In the “Online Media Sources” category in the Settings it’s the same as in the screengrab I posted in my OP. I cannot enable it.

I’m getting blind and forgetful
dokuro is right… Discover and the Display "More Ways to Watch" Search Results options aren’t currently available to managed users. Hence the Disabled for Managed Users option is in line with Enabled for the admin.

Thanks, this was the solution. I could see it again under the Plex category of the Web Player and I’ve pinned it to the left menu.

The way this is named is the opposite or whatever intuitive is. Could be improved.
