How can my media library be accessed by unauthorized logins?

Hi, I’m wondering how this is possible and am looking for an answer, explanation or setting I’ve missed to fix this.

The situation is this:

I have a Plex Server running at a paid service provider. At home, I use a Plex login that is connected to that server. Here, of course, I see all my media files and so on. I then activate the connection to my Chromecast. When not playing anything, a slideshow starts with the different titles. That is as it should be. I then disconnect from my Chromecast and the TV screen goes back to the default Chromecast slideshow.

If I then install Plex on another device, use a new login or even choose the Skip Sign Up option which is available on some devices and then activate the connection to my Chromecast again, then the titles from my media library starts showing as a slideshow. A new login or NO login should not have any access to my media library - so what is going on here?

The different devices are on the same network but even if I change the IP address via VPN on the router, it still happens. In the server settings’ Network section, I have nothing typed under List of IP addresses and networks that are allowed without auth. I looked through the settings over and over again to try and figure out how this is possible.

Any help would appreciated and also, if some of you with a similar setup would do a simple test of what I describe, I can at least figure out if it’s only here or actually everywhere.

Thanks!
