How do I completely get rid of an account? Having issues.

Long story short. I have two Plex accounts. One is my actual primary the other one was created by mistake because I forgot which email account I used to sign up.

I want to actual use my secondary email account so I deleted it but it looks like it doesn’t completely delete from the system. When I try to change my primary account email address to my secondary (which should be deleted) I get an error message saying “Email already taken.”

If I try to reset the email password, I don’t get the password reset. Is there any possible way to completely wipe the email address so I can re-set my current account to use it?

Deleting an account is never a solution for resolving problems.

You old email address will still be marked as ‘in use’ for at least 4 weeks.
I propose you re-attempt to switch over the email address in >=5 weeks from now.
