Email Address

Sorry first time looking for support and its something trivial. I am looking to change my email address and instead somehow created another account. Because the now new email address is being used for another account I am not able to add it to my actual Plex account. I have already deleted the account with the email I would like to use but I am still being told it is in use. How long will this take to flush the system of the deleted account and is there anything I can do to push it along?

The account you made had not purged so i was able to restore it. Change the email/username first to something else if are planning to use that email on some other account.

( on the deletion warning page it states you can’t reuse the same username or email for 30 days )

Thank you BigWheel I did not see the remarks you noted on the deletion screen. But honestly have to admit I clicked through it pretty quick.
