I recently mistakenly added a poster for a show that I didn’t want there. how do I get this poster out of the list of images?
Unfortunately there’s no way, aside from hacking the Plex database. There is a feature request for it, and several users, including me, have asked for it in the past. Please add your vote.

Sometimes in my zeal to customize my Plex, I download posters from Thetvdb.com and save them into the Season folders, then I click on the pencil to edit the Season info and go to poster on the left in the edit dialog.Some nights I forget to change to the correct Season and end up with Season 2 posters in Season 3.
