Can I use .plexignore files to ignore certain episodes and if so, how do I use it? I am having trouble with some media I downloaded where the episodes are stuck together in one file and Plex is recognizing them as different episodes and just playing the one file back to back. I’ve tried changing the naming convention and the only solution I see is throwing it into a video editor and manually splitting each episode.
You can either split the file: [HowTo]: splitting multi-episode files with MKVtoolnix GUI
or
name the file as if it was only one episode. (Then you’ll have to manually edit its description and add a note that it is actually several episodes).
