I had originally set up a managed user for a family member that turned out to be incorrect. I was hoping to edit the ID or worst case delete it and re-add it, but I don’t see any way as the Plex owner to do that.
Surely there is a way to edit/remove Managed Users?
Move your mouse over the line with the user name. There will appear an X at the end of the line to delete it.
To modify the user’s access permissions, simply click on the user name.
Which login screen?
You are already logged in to your plex.tv account, aren’t you?
Don’t try this with a “locked down” web browser, like Brave etc.
Disable browser add-ins which might be able to manipulate the content of web sites, like AdBlock, NoScript, uBlock etc.pp.
Edit: I’m not sure if it was solved. It looks like Otto replied to your post but it was edited… Well, I’ma leave my post up here anyway:
Don’t be in the login screen. You need to properly log in as the admin account, then click on the Settings wrench icon in the upper right. Once that loads, on the left-hand side will be a tall column of menus. For me, 5 entries down, is Users & Sharing. Click that, and it lists the managed users in your home. Pointing anywhere on the line for the user, two options for them appear on the right side for it, a way to edit the pin and an X. The X lets you delete the user.
If you click just about anywhere ELSE on the line but those two options, it will take you to the config panel for the user, allowing you to change which media they have access to, the list of media they shared to you, the profile name and picture, and the restrictions you want to set (like allowing PG movies, or blocking R rating).
