How do I find the 4 digit code.

I am using Plex for the first time on my TV that is connected to a separate computer. I put in my username and password but the 4 digit code box does not show a code. Can anybody help?

Did you go to https://plex.tv/link on the PC? If you are logged into your account it should work directly.

Edit: Sorry, did you mean the code doesn’t appear on your TV? If you enter a username and password then you don’t need a 4 digit code.

Hi pgalbavy. Yes I did do what you said but still hasn’t shown up on my TV.

pgalbavy. The log in box asks for user name - password which I have put in, but when I press submit, nothing happens.

You you type the username/password on your TV or on the Plex website https://plex.tv/link? If the Website, the code is suppose to be blank. When you start the app on the TV, it will give you the code. You enter this onto the website.
