Please I’m a newbie I have opened an account and have used Plex TV but I can’t seem to find my 4 digit code.can someone help me
The 4-digit code is shown on freshly installed Plex clients (e.g. on a smart TV device) when you open them.
You then open a web browser on your computer and log into your plex user account on plex.tv.
After logging in, you go to Link | Plex where you type in the 4-letter code.
This will link the plex app on the device to your plex account.
Keep in mind that this link code is only valid for a few minutes (for security reasons).
If you have a Plex client which fails to show the 4-digit code, it usually means that the device is too old and cannot securely communicate with plex.tv.
(the inability to communicate may be also caused by too restrictive internet filters)
Therefore this device unfortunately cannot be used with Plex.
