How do I get Plex to play music from my Windows 10 PC on my Onkyo TX NR636 receiver?

I am able to use the Onkyo Android App to stream music from the my PC to the Onkyo using the Windows native media server via DLNA, and I can do it using the Onkyo interface as well. But I don’t see any reference to the Plex Media Server (installed on my Win10 PC) on the Onkyo interface, nor on the Onkyo Android app or on the plex Android app. Does it require a device (like Chromecast) that I must attach to the Onkyo receiver? Bottom line: How do I get Plex to play lossless music from my Windows 10 PC on my Onkyo TX NR636 receiver?

If your Onkyo supports DLNA then you can turn DLNA on in the Plex servers settings. DLNA afaik always uses the same network port 1900, which means only one app at a time can use that port on a computer. If you have some other windows DLNA server app already running on that same computer then you need to turn that off, so the Plex DLNA server can be seen by your DLNA player on your Onkyo
