I would like to stream music from my desktop (windows 10) pc to my networked Onkyo receiver. I can do this in Windows Media Player but would like to move to a Plex only environment.
It’s not obvious, to me, how to stream to that device.

It really just depends on what the Plex app supports on your OS for casting. For example, my Onkyo shows up as a target in Plex on my iPhone but does not in Plex on my iMac.
All you can do is check the “casting” icon on the Player app and see what shows up.
