How do I go about getting a Plex Pass refund?

As per the title really, how do I go about getting a refund on my lifetime Plex Pass that I bought last week in order to enable the DVR functionality?

I tried the DVR before buying the pass, and it recognised the tuners (and didn’t say that they were community supported etc, implying that the software would “just work”), but obviously without a Plex Pass, it was impossible to get the guide, so couldn’t complete DVR setup.

The DVR with my Blackgold tuners has about a 10% success rate of recording or showing Live TV, with the rest of the time showing a message about unable to tune to channel. Suspect its around the fact that Plex can’t distinguish between the DVBC and DVBT tuners, and picks an incorrect tuner.

I also own a Hauppauge HVR2205 which is listed as supported, and that fairs better, but still not 100% reliable.

To be honest, unless I can rely on the system, its of zero use to me, and I’ve wasted enough time trying to make it usable.

Hence looking for the refund. There is nothing else in Plex I would use.

If a refund is what you want then your best option would be to use Contact | Plex and select the subscription billing option and plead your case.

I don’t use any of the DVR functionality myself so its something I cannot comment on but others might jump in to help if they have anything to add. Good luck.
