Question is there a way to easily hide a shared server from one of the libraries they share?
I don’t think I fully understand the question.
You can define exactly which libraries you share with other users which you don’t.
Or do you mean that someone else shared several libraries with you, and you want to remove one of them?
The easiest would be to ask the owner of the server who shared with you, to remove it for you.
If you want to keep access to the library, but simply don’t want to see it on the sidebar, you can un-pin it from there.
Keep in mind that this is no protection though. It is merely some kind of obfuscation, because anyone can scroll the sidebar to the bottom and go to MORE, where all your own libraries and those libraries which are shared with you are shown.
Ok, I was wondering if there is a way to hide folders/libraries (either temporally) or that have been shared. I tried to pin it but it only put it on the home page. I only access shared libraries from friends/shares on the More page.
True I could ask the owner to unshare the one folder. (it’s a new share and haven’t fully decided if it’s worth keeping yet.)
I even tried to use the restrictions to hide the folder but don’t think it has the data to do that.
You did kinda answer my question it sounds like there isn’t a way to hide or (maybe Parent control)

You can only leave the server as a whole (and thus lose access to all of its shared libraries)
Go to https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/manage-library-access
click on the user’s name
under the header “You have access to:”
you should see the other server name
at the right end there should be an “Edit” link and there you should see a big red button “Leave Server”.
