I’m trying to play a DTS movie on the nvidia shield TV, with the nvidia shield TV also as the plex media server.
I’m not sure what I need to set in the nvidia shield, pms, or app .
I’ve got a sony receiver that will play dts or dd.
When I try to play, I get the spinning circle indefinately.
Just Play it (if your sound system supports it).
Check the audio settings of the shield itself. by default I think it is set to auto detect what it is connected to can play ( your receiver) but if that is not reporting to the shield what it can play correctly then you need to manually tell it what it should be able to play.
Looks like it was a bad file. I had a bad harddrive a few months ago, so maybe something happened to it. Copied it from my backup drive and it’s now playing fine. Thanks for the attempted help!
