How do I search for a movie and mark it as watched when not in my library?

I can go to Discovery, see lot of movies that I don’t own, hence not in my library, and I can rate them and mark them as watched. Same goes for my Watchlist, I can interact with items there.
But If I want to SEARCH for a movie I’ve seen that I don’t own or is not in my Watchlist, nor in this discovery feature, then it won’t appear in the search result.
So, how come is not possible to leverage the search engine to find movies and shows outside own libraries?

You need to enable “display More ways to watch in search results” if not here, and enable it in the search menu options if not. Then there will be a more ways to watch section of results.
