I can’t believe how difficult managing music is with this thing. All of the “junk” music from the kids organizes fine. I can easily find everything in the library from, say Katie Perry, However, if I want to find every work I have by Ludwig van Beethoven, or Georg Friedrich Handel, it’s just about impossible. How do I show all of my music from a specific classical composer? There’s no way I can remember who performed it on a particular album. I need to be able to enter, say Beethoven and have all of the albums show up with Beethoven Sonatas, Symphonies, etc. How do you do that? What “magic” thing do you have to enter in MP3Tag to make that possible? I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks!
The only way to get Plex to treat classical music half-way decently is to incorrectly add the composer’s name in the Artist tag.
Then I recommend adding your vote to this feature request. We’ve been after this for a long time.
