How do I start Artist radio on the Android app

I set up a Plex server for my music some months ago and played it via the web app. I then got several Echo devices and discovered the “Play Artist radio” command for the Plex Alexa skill which I enjoyed listening to at home via my Echoes.

Since I listen to music on my phone while working as a developer, I decided I’d like to use the same feature at work, so downloaded the Android app and activated it. However, the only “radio” options I can see are “Library Radio”, “Time Travel Radio” and “Random Album Radio”. These 3 options just seem to start from a random track with no way to tell them to start from a particular artist.

How do I achieve the equivalent to the Alexa/Plex command “Play Artist Radio”, e.g. “Play Rolling Stones radio” using the Android app?

FYI: My media server is currently version 1.15.1.791 running on Debian Linux.

You need to browse your library by Artist.
Once you are on an artist’s pre-play page, you tap on the vertical ellipsis.
And there it is: {artist name} radio
