I had a wonderful PEEX system until Ransomware invaded my Plex hard drive and locked everything up tight. I had to erase and reformat the drive. Now I’m haunted by all by old
categories and indexes only they don’t do anything but wreak havoc. Is there anyway to start from scratch. My old categories are loaded with rap from the internet that I don’t need or want. I thought I made my server private but I guess that really can’t be done. How can I start fresh?

I think he means the plex web/old server is shown on clients still.
You can remove your old server @ https://app.plex.tv/desktop#!/settings/devices/pms
make sure you don’t remove any new server(s).
Or, could be he still has old server libraries PINNED in the clients.
The simplest way is to ‘reset’ the home screen to default, there should be a button or menu to reset it (you probably have to do it on every client).
this should run the UNO setup wizard, then you can re-pin/un-pin the libraries you do/don’t want to see by default.
