How do I switch from username/password to Google login using a different email?

I have an account in which I login with a user and password using a Gmail email.

I would like to completely switch my account to a different Gmail email and also use Google login rather than having a password.

After some research only I saw that I could link a Gmail account to my account. I have done that and it works fine, I am able to login with Google on the second email.

The problem is that when looking at the account settings, it still shows me original email. If I try to edit that email and change it to the new one, when I try to save it says I also have to add a password which I obviously shouldn’t have to since I can now login with Google instead (and I’d much rather not have a password connected to that account which improves security in it in case of breach on Plex, just as if I had signed up using the Google login originally).

I am currently at a loss on how to do this. Is anybody aware on how to go about this? Is there some sort of product support one can create a ticket in (I am a Plex Pass user)?

You can’t. Once you have a password, you can’t remove it. The only way to achieve what you want is to create a brand new account using the Google login option. You can then email billing and see if they can move your Plex Pass.
