How do I use French Canadian in Agents? Does it still take The French from France?
It uses https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/449756-the-postcard-killings/translations?language=fr-FR, instead of https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/449756-the-postcard-killings/translations?language=fr-CA. The result is not the same for the title. In agent, I set Canada et French.

Imma bump this up.
I’m also wondering how that can be done.
Clearly, the scanning agents can get info based on country (which would help for differentiating France’s french from Canada’s french) because of the country selectors for ratings and release dates for example…but when it comes to titles, it seems like it’s based solely on the « Language » setting next to the « Name » field and it only has French in there.
And for the Plex devs, yes, TheMovieDB’s API accepts using regional languages on their API (fr-CA for example). So, could it be just a country language selector missing when editing a library?

Following!

Only the new Plex Movie agent can use French Canadian. ( must be running server 1.20.1 or newer for that agent to be available) Assuming you don’t have use original titles enabled ( it is not enabled by default) then it should pick it up fine.

That’s weird. That’s exactly how I am setup except that I do not name my files in English (otherwise, it makes it impossible or super hard for me to find the file for the backup I need to do something on it).
Yet, it still shows « L’Âge de Glace » or « Ice Age » instead of « L’Ère de Glace ».

odd. that appears to work fine for me. the title looks correct but whomever entered it in seems to have copied the fr-FR summary and poster. https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/425-ice-age/translations

Is this a totally new library where you started with French Canadian or did you upgrade the matching agent on an existing library that used to use French?
