Cannot Get UK Film Titles

Hi. All my film are showing US titles and not UK. I can switch to TMDb agent where I can select UK preference but this is going to be deprecated soon. Why isn’t this an option in Plex Agent?

What exact metadata language have you set for your library?

With the modern agents, the preferences of the agent are no longer global for the whole server.
Instead, each library has its own agent preferences.
The language setting on your library defines the language of the metadata and thus the version of movie titles as well.
Further, more detailed settings can be found on the Advanced tab.

Edit your library

Hey, thanks for the replies. I have set the language in the individual libraries. When using Plex Movie agent, the only language option appears to be for certification though… Have I missed a step?

If you have set the language, why are you saying that there is no selection?

Edit your library https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/200289266-Editing-Libraries
On the General tab is a language selector
Set it to English (UK).

Because it isn’t changing the movie title, just the way it shows the certificate.

I have already set language general to English UK.

Sorry, realised my original question is a little vague. Under individual library settings, if I use TMDb, I can set the language to UK and my films will then show UK names. With Plex Movie agent I can only see one language option and it only seems to effect how certification is displayed, films revert to US names. How can I get the newer Plex Movie agent to display regional names for films? Cheers…

Exactly like that:
Edit your library https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/200289266-Editing-Libraries
On the General tab is a language selector
Set it to English (UK).

Keep in mind that this library preference can be overridden on each individual movie. So check what is set in the properties of affected items.

Ensure that you have NOT enabled “Use original titles”, because that would result in American titles if it’s an amercian movie.

Thank you. Away from home for a few hours. Will have another go when I get back…

Thanks for the help. While I recall setting the language to English (UK), I can’t have saved it as it was still on English when I doubled checked. I think all the titles are correct again.
