How do we add a folder of music to a playlist?

Player Version#: PlexAmp 4.12.2

Question: My music archive is comprised of folders. I can’t figure out how to add a folder in the folder-view to a playlist in the Plex web app, or PlexAmp on any device.

In an older version of the main Plex android app, I used to be able to long-press a music folder in the folder-view and add all the music files within said folder to a playlist.

Advice?

Plex keeps folder view around because there’s still users who organize their media entirely that way. The majority of features rely on metadata – allowing you e.g. to filter/group media based on artist, album, collections…
TL;DR: I don’t think you can.

It was possible just a couple weeks ago which is strange.

A large chunk of my music and recordings will always have poor metadata since it goes back about 20 years.
