How do you refresh Plex on a TV?

To be clear I’m not interested in a “refresh metadata” option on the TV. I’m talking about changes I’ve already made to the metadata or adding content to the server

Add a movie, change a subtitle, an addition to a collection. None of these changes I make on the server are reflected on any of my TV’s.
Nvidia Shield, Fire TV, or Plex HTPC

Is there any type of refresh option for the Plex app on any device without having to close/reopen or reload the entire app?

Sometimes on android tv, even a close/reopen doesn’t completely reload the app. You have to go into the settings and force stop Plex

For the moment I’m most interested in HTPC on Windows. The closest I can get is using F5 on the keyboard which reloads the app. That option still kicks me out of whatever library or collection I’m in and boots me back to the home page

Is that the best I’m gonna get?

Is there a trick to this I’m missing?

Using Plex HTPC on a Mac, I go down to *** More and hit Return :slight_smile:

I’m gonna add onto this. I’ve been seeing content not refresh automatically in the client for a while. I could be in the Home tab, add content on the server, and it won’t show up. I have to go to the specific Library and then it will show up. Then i go back to Home and it shows up.

Has been happening for at least a couple months now

I’m using Fire TV stick 4k max. Currently on latest beta version of the client, server is currently 1.29.2.6364 (LSIO docker)
