A while back, I used to be able to use a reload/refresh button at the top of the page for Plex tvOS on AppleTV 4K. This would show the newly added episodes that I’d added to my Plex Server folder. My plex server is set to automatically scan the designated folders, and everything on the server side of the equation works normally/as it has in the past.
The new layout has no such button. To date, the only workaround has been to go and change the sort order for the specific library, and then to clear that sort order… a tedious process.
Recent builds gave me some hope. If I select the particular library (movies, tv shows, etc) and press & hold the remote button, it does show a “Scan Library Files” option… but selecting that does not appear to do anything.
Ideally, whenever I add content to my plex server folders, I’d like for the new content to just show up in the AppleTV app once the server has scanned it. But failing that, I would like an easy way to be able to refresh the library to see newly added episodes and other content.
