Problem with multiple clients refreshing content without intervention

Wondering if anybody’s seen a bug with some clients not showing/refreshing added content automatically?

If i’m on a tab on my Fire TV 4k Max (9.17.0.38680 beta) it won’t show the server-added content on the client until i go to another tab in the side-bar and then come back. I could be in Home, add a Movie and it won’t show up in the Recently Added row; but if i then go to the Movies tab it’ll show up, and then i come back to Home and it’ll show up.

It has been happening for a while now. I’ve been dealing with it but it’s getting a little annoying now.

For client comparison, the problem does NOT happen on Plex for Windows (1.62.2.3451-fb8ac0ae) (the content shows up right away with no intervention), DOES happen on Plex HTPC (1.33.2.3525-140e01eb), and DOES happen on Plex Android Mobile (9.17.0.38689).
PMS is 1.30.2.6563 linuxserver docker

So it seems to be a multi-client problem and not fire tv specific. Maybe plex for windows has a push mechanism for new content or a pull mechanism on a small-timed interval, while the others do not.

Any insight would be appreciated

On 9.20.0 now and still have this problem.

Same issue here. New videos aren’t added to the Plex Home screen after content is added to the server unless I switch to a different library and then go back to home. I have the most recent Android TV Plex version on CCwGTV. Roku client doesn’t have this issue nor does the web client.
