I am one of those people who add entries to tmdb and tvdb. Lately I have started adding video trailers to the entries for English and the languages I am interested in. I have waited for around 2 weeks, and despite plex adding the rest, it hasn’t added the trailers. How does the Agent add trailers its entries?

It isn’t that simple as collecting links to videos from various sources. If you are using them commercially (like Plex does), then you need to have clearance of legal and copyright issues. That’s what the above company provides.
You are free to download the trailers you’ve collected and add them to your own server as local extras.
