Whenever I click on an actor within a series library I do receive information about that actor (see screenshot below).
If I click on an actor within a movie library I do receive a list of movies with that actor but I didn’t find a way to get actor information from within a movie library.
Ah, I see. “Include adult content” is unchecked for series and checked for movies. Don’t know why. Ok. But now I don’t understand why I would see movie information for adult movies but not actor information for adult movies. Confusing.
Did disable it. Metadata refresh is running. The reason why I had it enabled is: I didn’t know the boundary. I have some very old (70s) scandalous movies. I think these are classic and very important in history. Others may think it’s porn.
I have a similar issue as the original poster. I have a primary (English) Movie and TV Show library, and I had created a secondary library for Foreign films. While I’m able to click on the actor in the primary Movie/TV Show libraries and get their bio, I cannot get it in my Foreign Film library. I reviewed the settings, and can confirm I have the settings set as you have suggested, and have also attempted to refresh the metadata.
For instance, for actors that have movies in both my English and Foreign film library (e.g. Jackie Chan), if I click on the actor’s name from the primary library, it will lead to their bio. If I click on their name on a film in my foreign library, it will only list films within this library, and not their full bio.
Do you have any suggestions on how to remedy this issue? Thanks in advance.
Here is the XML for one of the media items from my foreign library. When clicking the profile of the actors, it will only display a list of the films they’re in, not the newer actor bio page. 38761.txt (5.4 KB)
