How i migrate Plex for DMS7 to a new NAS?

Hello,

i use DSM 7 Beta on a DS918+ with Plex 1.22.1.4228 and i want to migrate Plex to my new DS720+ NAS. How i can do that? I cant find any libary or metadata folder on the NAS. In the HyperBackup the Plex App is also not visible.

Please help me.

To add to Trumpy,

  1. When migrating a DSM 7 set of drives to a new NAS, all data will be retained unless expressly destroying the volume during DSM migration to a new host.

  2. After installing DSM for the new NAS, which exists in different partitions on the hard drives, Plex will start and function normally without alteration.

  3. I am, as stated, working on creating a backup & restore mechanism as DSM 7 becomes “Release” version. At this point in time, I am waiting to see what happens with DSM 7 public beta 2 . Beta 2 should become the Release Candidate at some point.
