How many people would use a Fetch TV app for Plex

On the hunt for an iptv solution (in Australia) with Plex capability - much like my Roku from when I was in the UK.

Would be good to know if a Fetch app was in the pipeline!

Just setup my fetch box, unless they release this in the next 2 days… illl be chucking the box… Disappointing … ■■■■■■■ 4 apps aviliable. wtf.

Yes. With the growth of NBN in Australia this will only become more of a need. Not a desire.

What is a ‘Fetch TV’ app?

LOL! That’s what I’m saying. Was gonna vote but no 3rd option, “What is Fetch TV?”…

  1. a channel you put on for your dog when you leave the house…
  2. something that downloads illegal torrents and automatically adds them to Plex storage…

Either having less chance than being able to get a refreshing sno-cone in HELL.

Wish for something that might happen, like bug fixes, not for something that won’t happen.

I would love this! I have fetch from Optus with the multiroom option.

I would love this.

Fetch Mighty box is based on the Hybroad M616T

The SDK I think to develop the app is the archimage SDK.

The archimage SDK runs in the Taikin browser (webkit based), it exposes native functions via it’s javascript library so might not take that much effort to develop. Once done you could send it to Fetch for verification.

Alternatively there is a C/C++ library that allows you to develop a native linux app for the platform.

thanks!

Absolutely!! It would be an excellent solution for those without a Smart TV with native Plex

+1 please. With a Plex client, I could retire my media centre pc

Universal Media Server works with fetch, and it free, and its better than plex. You’re welcome.

Plex on Fetch Mighty would be good - but not sure if Optus, my particular ISP, allow other apps to be installed. Would be good to consolidate my Roku (only used for Plex and YouTube) onto the Fetch.

Yes Yes Yes!
Would love Plex app on Fetch Mighty.
