How to access mounted hard drive to add media?

Hi im running Plex server on a Pi 4 using a 5 TB usb portable hard drive as my storage for all of my media. I have searched and for some reason cannot find what I am looking for.

How can I access the attached and mounted hard drive over network to add more media to it for my plex server? What am I missing? Please help

you need to make that drive available through a supported network protocol such as SMB/Samba or NFS.
