Library on NAS

Hello, I’m thinking about to buy a Raspberry Pi 4 and install Plex Media Server on it. I have my Media files on a LAN Hard Disk (WD My Cloud 2Tb, wothout PLEX manager).

My question is… Could Plex media Server access to my LAN Hasd Disk and then get my media files as Media Plex Library? Or only is possible with Raspberry local SD (or an USB hard disk)?
