How to automatically match for 2 different movies with the same title in same year

If you’re using the latest PMS beta (1.20.0) and update your library to the new movie agent, you have 2 options to improve the automatic matching:

  1. add a “nfo” file that contains the IMDb-ID of the movie
  2. include the IMDb or TMDb ID in the file name

We now support IMDB and TMDB IDs in file names. The convention is as follows;

  • ID must be within { } (we also support ( ) or [ ] )
  • Start with imdb or tmdb and use : or - as a separator between source and ID.
  • Can then be placed anywhere in the filepath (=movie folder name or movie file-name)

Example for #2:

  Homefront (2013)
    Homefront (2013) [imdb-2312718].ext
    Homefront (2013) (imdb:2312718).ext

  Homefront (2013) [imdb-2312718]
    Homefront (2013).ext
