The most disgusting Android-Beta-test ever. I solely use Plex for Local-Channel server access only - or whatever its called. I never ever use Live channels and especially Plex “main server” cuz of the insane amount of ads - worst ever!!!

I’ve been on Plex since 2019 & 90% of all my Streaming is on Plex through local-server-channel-access (or whatever it’s called) - no ads, whew - friends’ channel from Iceland! So, naturally, any new Beta upgrade on the main channel is useless to me. Plz, plz, plz help!!!

I’ve tried & since its impossible to contact Plex directly & uselessly directed me “here” (worst customer service ever & they know it!), my question is this, HOW THE HELL CAN I CANCEL MY BETA-TEST “UPGRADE” & go back to the old reliable formst??? Why can’t access my friends server in Iceland? Why would they do this. If i didn’t have a Plex Pass, I’d cancel Plex outright!!! Why it’s there a, “cancel Beta-test” option?

How to cancel 2025 Android Beta Test upgrade - ie, can't access Local-Server-Channel - so plz cancel
Be aware that the current public releases of Android and iOS mobile are the “New Experience” versions, the same as what you receive in the beta program. Leaving the beta program will not return to the legacy version of the mobile apps.
To leave the beta program, use the same page as when you signed up.
See Join App Betas: Android (mobile), Android TV, Apple TV, iOS and click the Opt In To Beta link. You will be linked to the Google Play store. The page will show if you are in the beta program. If so, it has instructions on how to leave.
