How to change language without using drop-down on settings

I have this same issues here:

Is there a way I can construct a URL to app.plex.tv that will allow me to force a language, or perhaps some way that Plex could actually honor my users profiles language setting, and not switch language based on the browser/internet connection?

Update: I am referring to the UI language of the web interface (Settings, Plex Web, General, Language) which is set as English from my laptop, but switches to German in “special browsers”.

Let’s maybe start with how Plex isn’t respecting your Plex account‘s language preferences?
What exactly are you doing / how have you configured those preferences and what‘s the unexpected behavior?

Are we talking UI language (the left-hand menu words not being in your approved language) or the auto-selection of language tracks in your movie/episodes?

If you’re referring to the browser / user interface language… make sure your browser isn’t configured to automatically translate pages.
Beyond that, the web app’s user interface is controlled by Settings > [Plex Web] > General > Language.

As described in the link to similar issue, it is the UI language in the web interface:

If I login from one computer it is set to English, and I would expect that this value is stored and remembered for my profile. But when I login from systems which may have external IP´s coming out of other countries, the value is changed (in my case to German).

That is exactly what I have set to English, but it switches to German in some browsers, and unfortunately that browser does not support the drop-down, i.e. I cannot change it.

I am pretty sure it is not a translation issue, because when I go into Settings, Plex Web, General, Language it is set to German instead of English as I have in other browsers.

You could run the web app on different devices with different preferences.
If you want it to be the same across those instances, make sure to click the Turn on Settings Sync button on this settings page (Settings > Plex Web > General).

You gave me hope for second, did not know that setting. Unfortunately it was already enabled, so that apparently does not fix this.

You might want to check your browser settings for any cookie deletion policies (some browsers nowadays delete all cookies at the end of a session) or if there’s “cookie management” browser add-ons.

Unfortunately this browser does not support any user-functions like that.
