I am running:
Raspberry Pi 4 with Raspbian
Plex Version 1.25.9.5721
This setup cannot transcode video files through plex and throws an error when I try to play a media file not supported by plex (even if other mainstream media players have no issue).
I have a ~3TB media library, all nicely sorted and named by script. However some files work and some don’t and I currently don’t know which is which until I try to watch it.
My media seems to fall into 3 categories:
- Plex plays it fine
- Plex needs to transcode and fails
- Plex doesn’t even display the media through the UI
So my ask is: is there a way, hopefully via linux cli script, to sweep all my media and identify which is which? That way I can delete and reacquire versions which plex will accept.
Thanks in advance for the help.
Cheers
