I have somehow messed up my library, while trying to get it to recognize a movie it would not find.
It is only affecting the Movies library, the TV shows is still normal.
I cannot figure out how to fix this problem. Can someone point me in the right direction?
You have changed the Agent setting to Personal Media. Thus making this library a “Other Videos” library, instead of “Movies”.
Default is “Plex Movie” for both Scanner and Agent.
Don’t change that around willy-nilly.
Yeah, this is what I thought I’d done. But how do I change it back? I’ve been looking for the answer to what I did and kind of figured it out. I go to change it to Plex Movie and it responds with “My changes could not be saved”
Try changing the Agent first.
Use the hosted web app.
Disable all web browser add-ons.
OK, I fixed my problem. I ended up uninstalling the Plex server from Windows then deleting the entire plex folder from windows. Then a new install of Plex server. I took a while to connect and initialize but it worked and is back to normal. I’ll have to go through and re-match a bunch but at least I can recover from here.
