"Other Videos" library type and a possible bug?

Hi all!
So here what I’ve found after moving some movies from my main library to separate folder.

  1. I create a new library of ‘Other Videos’ type, it’s automatically named ‘Other Videos’ and the language is set to ‘None’
  2. After it’s updated I change my mind and go to lib’s advanced settings. Scanner is set to ‘Plex Video Files Scanner’, and the agent is ‘Personal Media’. Setting scanner to ‘Plex Movie’ does not work - I get ‘Your changes could not be saved’ error message near the ‘Save changes’ button. I set scanner to ‘Plex Movie Scanner’ and save. Setting agent to ‘Plex Movie’ does not work. But I can set agent to ‘Plex Movie (Legacy)’ and save.
  3. After this library type changes to regular ‘Movies’ type, language gets set to Bahasa Indonesia (I guess because of it’s 0th position in the dropdown). And ‘Upgrade Library’ option appears in UI. That triggers metadata update for the whole server (2 other movie libs) and takes a lot of time. Scanner is set to ‘Plex Movie’, agent is set to ‘Plex Movie’, and language is Indonesian (derived from Bahasa Indonesia, I suppose).
  4. Even after I manually set language to ‘English’, I can’t get Plex to match movies whatever I do. These movie files in separate folders were picked (moved) from my main 1000-items pool, so I am sure naming and other typical problems are not the case. ‘Fix match’ works fine.
  5. At this point I just deleted that library and created a new one, property typed from the start.

It seems I’ve found a broken way of changing library type, thing that should not be an option. Can anyone confirm?

PS. Does upgrading a library with the legacy agent always trigger global server-wide metadata update?
