How to delete an unclaimed server

Hey guys,
I’m running plex media server from my NAS running rockstorr, but after some persistent issues (reinstall server OS and Plex server) I ended up with numerous inactive servers in my list that are no longer get useful, yet I’m unable to delete them from my server-side in plex.
It also keeps telling me I have an unclaimed server on my network (whose name is identical to the inactive server in the list).

Can someone tell me how to start from scratch and just nuke all (un)claimed servers so I can start fresh? Reinstalling the server OS or Plex server does not seem to do the job (?!)

All help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Mark

From Plex Web, goto Settings / Devices / Servers. That should list all the servers under your account. If there are any duplicates, remove the one that has a longer/later last seen date.

MovieFan.Plex, you have saved me a lot of frustration :stuck_out_tongue: thanks!

Sep 2019. Samne problem but solution not possible since Plex 1.3.1.916-1cb2c34d does not have “Settings>Devices>Servers” menu item. How can I get rid of the unclaimed server which was used for testing?

Use the web app. app.plex.tv
or go directly to https://app.plex.tv/desktop#!/settings/devices/pms

Thanks for the quick response. Unclaimed server not shown but that may be OK. Will check other devices (Roku),

I am actually not sure what the issue is here.
You should only get a message about an unclaimed server in your network, if there actually is an unclaimed server present. If that is the case, then it must be running on one computer or NAS in your home network.
Either shut it down, uninstall it or claim it.
