Hello, when I add too many pictures and while browsing I realize a few files are too much (exported by coincidence in the for-Plex-export directory), I would love to have a delete button, but I can’t find any. Can it be that such obvious feature is missing :-o? Thank you!
Plex made a conscious decision to not touch our media files in any way. I, for one, am very glad for that decision. However, they did make an exception. If you go into Plex Web, and go to Settings > Server > Library, there is a checkbox labeled “Allow media deletion.” If this is enabled, the server owner (only the server owner) will have an option to delete for individual media files.
When that is enabled, the Delete command will appear in the “…” menu on each individual media file.
