How to delete or ignore a folder within a library

I am attempting to run Plex with my NAS folders(music, movies,etc).My NAS and laptop have an identical folder containing all of my music.It seems Plex has and is using both locations for my music library.How to I delete the laptop folder?

Edit your Music library, go to the Add Folders page. If both locations are listed there, remove the one you don’t want.

Thanks for the response.I did this already.The response I got was Your changes could not be saved.Keep in mind Plex is currently downloading meta data.Is that why I cant remove it?

I suppose that’s possible, but I don’t have a clue. Once it finishes downloading, try again. If it still doesn’t work, this will require someone else’s expertise. In that case, you may want to grab the log files and attach them to this thread so someone can take a look.

You can restart PMS which will stop whatever it is downloading, delete the unwanted folder, then refresh the library to let it finish it’s earlier downloading.
